jodhpur decorative throw blanket
jodhpur, a city in northwest india, is known as the blue city. set in the middle of a desert, it's rumored that the buildings were all painted blue both to honor lord shiva and to reflect the sun and keep homes cool. the contrast of deep blue and the warm hues of the desert directly inspired this textile colorway.
here and there styling tip: add a hint of color and pattern to the bottom of your bed or the back of your sofa. the tassels, a different color on each end of the throw, embellish the edges for a bold fun look!
- size: approximately 50 inches x 60 inches
- details: block print on both ends, tassles on both ends (short side)
- fabric: knitted with 100% cotton (delicate)
due to the handprinted nature of block print, slight color differences and imperfections between products are expected. we celebrate these differences and believe they enhance the beauty of our textiles. although the throw blankets have been through a series of washing and drying, some natural dyes may bleed and transfer. we recommend hand washing gently in cold water and air drying.
