In 2017, founder Breanne and her husband sat on a rooftop in Jodhpur, India and dreamt up a vision for Here & There Creative. They envisioned a brand that would bring together her passions for textiles, travel and culture, and sustainability.
She states, “my vision was to create a brand that supported my aspiration to make a positive contribution to hard-working artisan villages through my design work. If you could only see the smiles of these villagers or their children running free, you would understand where this brand originated.”
Bre uses gouache paints to sketch her designs, which are then crafted into something tangible using ancient talents that have been learned from generations.
"While many Rajasthani villages have turned to screen-printing as an alternative to block printing, Bagru has remained loyal to its history, culture, and craftsmanship. This makes it one of the last existing hubs for this niche process."
