jodhpur block print scarf

our scarves are the perfect accessory, whether you choose to tie it up in your hair, tie the scarf around your neck, or tie it onto your purse or bag. each scarf has been individually hand block printed, making each one unique.

jodhpur, a city in northwest india, is known as the blue city. set in the middle of a desert, it's rumored that the buildings were all painted blue both to honor lord shiva and to reflect the sun and keep homes cool. the contrast of deep blue and the warm hues of the desert directly inspired this textile colorway.

  • size: approximately 20 inches x 20 inches
  • details: all edges are hemmed
  • fabric: 100% cotton
  • due to the handprinted nature of block print, slight color differences and imperfections between products are expected. we celebrate these differences and believe they enhance the beauty of our textiles. although the scarves have been through a series of washing and drying, some natural dyes may bleed and transfer. we recommend hand washing gently in cold water and air drying.
